Shahab Afaghi began his journey in music as a child, even before starting school, through children’s music. He later continued with traditional Persian music and learned to play the santur during his elementary school years. In high school, he picked up the guitar and keyboard and developed a deep interest in composing. Around that time, he also started working with music production software and began creating and producing his own music.

After graduating from university, Shahab began collaborating with his longtime friend Kaveh Afagh, composing and arranging rock music. He also performed as an electric and acoustic guitarist in Kaveh Afagh’s rock band, playing shows in various cities.

Since immigrating to Canada, Shahab has focused on music production and live electronic music performances, continuing to explore new sounds and creative expressions.
